An Ode to our Interns
Greetings…
The summer is quickly speeding by and Alana, Anabell, and I wanted introduce our interns that have joined us in the Harvard iLab this summer. They are passionate for reimagining the future of education and wanted to learn more about the startup ecosystem. They have each been rockstars and we are grateful they joined us on this journey. Together we’ve laughed, we’ve cried, and we’ve eaten a lot of Oreos.
Eder Machado is a Hult, MBA student who was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. He joined us for the Summer to focus on our business development — specifically our sales processes. A natural connector, Eder is developing a clearer approach to our outreach with learners and companies. Eder is exceptionally talented at telling long winded, hilarious stories and at finding free food.
Chris Randy graduated from Northeastern University in May of 2016 majoring in Economics. He his focused on conducting market research to identify opportunities for ALEX to enlist the right educational institutions as partners. He is quick in compiling research, and even quicker on the basketball court.
Vanessa Zamy graduated from Stanford in March of 2016 with a degree in Management Science. She leads the operations and project management activities including our launch party August 4th. Her leadership has brought structure and focus to our team to make sure we are operating in unison and moving forward. Vanessa’s cool, calm, and collected nature keeps us from going insane and drowning in work.
Brian Zhao has lead the development of our social media. He has been instrumental in building our online presence and giving our digital brand an informative, but comical personality. Beyond filming, editing, and managing our online presence, he has also been a key contributor to our learner outreach. Brian is basically the bomb.
We have enjoyed this quirky crew through our summer journey. Thank you for your hard work and the laughs.
Best,
Alana, Sergio, & Anabell
